We generally work clients who are approaching retirement and focused on developing a detailed retirement plan as well as those clients who have already retired. As a result, our client base tends to be individuals and couples over Age 50.

Our detailed retirement planning service tends to be most impactful for those clients who would like to retire within the next 3 years. However, new clients often include those who have already retired, but prefer to work with us for their ongoing tax and investment needs after learning about our services.

We charge an annual advisory fee of 1% on the first $1 million of investment assets and 0.50% on any investment assets above $1 million. Our annual advisory fee is earned daily, billed quarterly, and it covers all tax services, retirement planning, and investment services that you receive.

Yes. We are a fiduciary. This means that we have not only an ethical obligation to act in your best interests, but also a legal obligation to do so.

We are NOT paid any commissions on any advice or recommendation that we make. The only type of compensation that we receive is our annual advisory fee.

All client accounts are held in each client’s own name at Charles Schwab & Co. As a client, you would authorize us to work with Charles Schwab to facilitate ongoing trading, tax planning, and cash management activities within your accounts. You will always maintain access and full control over your Charles Schwab accounts.
